Task management

A board built for agency work, not software sprints.

Agencies don't ship in two-week sprints — they juggle a dozen clients, each with their own list of things half-finished. Flowcove keeps every task on one board, with the file, the note and the decision attached to the work itself.

  • Tasks and sub-tasks
  • Board columns you choose
  • Custom task properties
  • File attachments on the task
  • Comments in one thread
  • Internal notes, separate from the rest
  • Activity history on every task
  • Email and in-app notifications

Break work down without losing it

Any task can hold sub-tasks, so a piece of work that turns out to be five pieces of work doesn't get flattened into a checklist nobody reads. The parent keeps the context; the sub-tasks carry the detail.

Shape the board around how you deliver

Choose your own columns and add custom properties to tasks — the fields your agency actually tracks, not the ones a project tool assumed you'd want.

Keep internal talk internal

Notes can be marked internal, which keeps candid team discussion in its own lane, apart from the running commentary on the work. Internal notes can carry their own due dates.

See what changed, and who changed it

Every task keeps its own timeline. Status changes and reassignments are recorded as they happen, so 'when did this move?' has an answer that isn't someone's memory.

Files live on the work

Attach files directly to the task they belong to. No hunting through a thread from three weeks ago to find the version everyone agreed on.

The right person hears about it

Notifications reach the people subscribed to a task, in-app or by email. Not everything to everyone — just the work that needs them.

A note on who sees what: this board is your team's. A client only sees anything if you invite them to the client portal, and a task you mark internal stays out of that view — as do any notes your team marks private. 'Internal' is the switch for work you don't want a client reading.
